Typical Marketing Manager Responsibilities

 

¨ Develop and Administer Long Term Business Development Objectives.

¨ Develop and Administer Plans to Meet Specific Short Term Goals.

¨ Maintain/Monitor Contacts with Past and Present Clients.

¨ Identify Changing Market Trends and New Markets Offering Future Opportunities.

¨ Develop and Follow New Prospects, Either Personally or Through Delegation to Others.

¨ Monitor and Appraise the Firm's Overall Marketing Performance and the Performance of Individuals to Whom Marketing Responsibilities Have Been Delegated.

¨ Produce New, and Appraise Present Marketing Tools for Cost and Effectiveness.

¨ Develop and Implement Internal Reporting Systems to Keep All Executives and Staff Informed of Business Development Efforts, Procedures and Results.

¨ Identify Opportunities for New Services, New Markets, Joint Ventures or Mergers.

¨ Prepare Proposals, and Direct and Strategize Presentations, Including the Selection of Presentation Teams.

¨ Participate in the Negotiation and Closing of New Contracts as required.
